Yes. There is a soft elastic inside the silk. Wrap it two or three times, depending on how much hair you have.

Silk is smooth, so hair slides against it instead of catching the way it can on a plain elastic. There are no metal parts.

Yes. It is soft with nothing hard inside, so it is comfortable for a loose overnight bun or braid.

Each scrunchie is sold on its own, in the color you choose.

Yes. It is 100% mulberry silk in Grade 6A long fibre, not polyester satin. Satin is a weave, and most satin bedding is polyester; mulberry silk is a natural fibre.

Hand wash, or use a gentle machine cycle, in cold water with a pH-neutral silk detergent, ideally in a mesh laundry bag. No bleach or fabric softener. Dry it flat or on a line out of direct sunlight, and do not tumble dry.
