Care
Hand wash gently, or use the silk or delicate cycle of your machine, in cold water with a pH-neutral silk detergent. Wash each piece inside out and close the zipper first. No bleach. Smooth it flat and hang to dry in the shade, out of direct sunlight. Do not tumble dry. Iron on low heat while it is still slightly damp.

Momme (mm) is how silk is weighed. The higher the number, the more silk is woven into every inch: denser and heavier. Lower numbers are lighter and more fluid. Every KINT weight is long-fibre mulberry silk made to last; the choice is about feel.

    What is included in the set?

    Four pieces: one duvet cover, one flat sheet and two pillowcases, all in 19 momme mulberry silk. The duvet insert and the pillows are not included.
    Which size do I need?

    Choose by your bed. For a 1.8 m (6 ft) bed: duvet cover 200 x 230 cm (79 x 91 in), flat sheet 230 x 250 cm (91 x 98 in). For a 2.0 m (6.6 ft) bed: duvet cover 220 x 240 cm (87 x 94 in), flat sheet 250 x 270 cm (98 x 106 in). The two pillowcases are 48 x 74 cm (19 x 29 in) in both sets. These are metric sizes, so check your duvet insert against the duvet cover size.
    Is the sheet fitted or flat?

    It is a flat sheet. You tuck it under the mattress, so it suits mattresses of any depth.
    Is it silk on both sides?

    Yes. The duvet cover, the flat sheet and the pillowcases are 100% mulberry silk on both sides.
    How does the duvet cover close?

    With a hidden zipper along the bottom edge, concealed under a fold of silk.
    Is it real silk?

    Yes. It is 100% mulberry silk in Grade 6A long fibre, not polyester satin. Satin is a weave, and most satin bedding is polyester; mulberry silk is a natural fibre.
    What does momme mean, and which should I choose?

    Momme is the weight of the silk: the higher the number, the denser the fabric. 19 momme is light and fluid, 22 is fuller, 25 is the heaviest. All of them are made to last, so choose by feel. The guide further up this page compares them side by side.
    How do I wash silk?

    Hand wash, or use a gentle machine cycle, in cold water with a pH-neutral silk detergent, ideally in a mesh laundry bag. No bleach or fabric softener. Dry it flat or on a line out of direct sunlight, and do not tumble dry.
    Will silk make me too warm?

    Silk is a natural, breathable fibre, so it is comfortable in every season. If you sleep warm, the lighter 19 momme is the airiest choice.
    How long will it take to get my order?
